A subtropical vs an oceanic climate very different from each other but located only 120 kilometres apart. The vegetation of Florianopolis is tropical rainforest while Urupema is a temperate coniferous rainforest. imgur.com/a/Ju7ZOSP

Flori by fari. Still, it's oppressively and humidly cloudy for me. But I would prefer it over a place that has recorded subfreezing lows all year round.

Florianopolis
Elevation makes all the difference: subtropical paradise versus cool maritime hellhole with a subfreezing record low in summer.

Florianopolis, because Urupema’s freezing record lows have happened in a period of only nine lows, meaning these cold snaps are very common

Urupema cause it actually has real temperate seasons relatively speaking...

Florianópolis: slightly better temps and slightly more sunshine (C+). A bit hot and muggy in summer, but I would acclimatise to it.
