Okay, it isn't really that continental per se, but the fact that its summers have warm highs and winters have cold daytime highs with occasional snow give it that ''continental'' sense. It has been done here but only in climate battles. Let's now give it its own thread.

D. Summer afternoons are passable but the lows are much too cool. But the bigger problem is the winters -- wet and cold, but not cold enough for reliable snowfall. So, it's mostly cold rain. Awful.
This is on par with Motueka, very similar climate.
