Two climates that I found in my old fictional climate spreadsheets. Sun hours: For Christmaston, 100 in January to 400 in July (yes really) For Sahara Springs, over 3,000 a year with 400 in July

Anyway, this time I think I'll vote Christmaston.
I like the Med precip pattern in a cool climate, most of it is snow in winter, and the summer is dry and very sunny with comfortable cool, and even at times frosty nights.

Christmaston for being cooler, but both of them are shitholes with hyper arid summers.

Sahara Springs by far, and it's even my type of climate. Anything over a tundra any day.

Sahara Springs. It's not perfect, but a cold snowy climate is far worse.

Sahara Springs, although unwillingly. Its summers of course are terribly hot, but November-March is good (although could be a little wetter). I would love the year-round sunshine, so an E+. I expected 'Christmaston' to be dumped with snow, but it is a subalpine rotting pie. Summers would be nice, but far too dry (although sunny); bumping the grade to an E
