Such a thread is missing on here, and my ranking needs an update:
1. June (longest days and heat is still a novelty) 2. July (warmest month, great outdoor weather) 3. May (everything is green and blooming, first really warm days) 4. August (I'm a little bored of summer by then but still a great outdoor month) 5. November (anticipation of the first cold days mixed with mild weather and the fading vegetation gives a cozy vibe) 6. December (a below average snowy December is superb, above average is meh) 7. January (my winter enthusiasm is fading away during that month but at least it has the highest chances for snow) 8. April (above average is nice, below average even worse than March) 9. October (boring because neither cold nor real warmth can be expected, but nice fall colours) 10. September (as boring as October but without the fall colours) 11. February (I'm sick of winter but at least it's mostly dry) 12. March (I'm extremely sick of bare trees and just waiting for summer)

1. July—consistently warm and relatively dry. 2. August—drier than July and still warm but a reminder summer is ending
3. June—can be cool and wet at the beginning but generally warm
4. September—generally dry and warm, but not ready for fall. 5. May—cool and wet at first but usually mild to warm, can get some heat.
6. April—feels nice after winter, often too cool and wet though. 7. December—enthusiastic for winter, but can be mild and rainy 8. January—meh. Too cold and I’m getting tired of winter by the end.
9. October—Usually pleasant at first then cool and wet. Aggravating in between month-too late for warmth, to early for snow.
10. March. Annoyingly slow transition to spring. Often feels like a winter month.
11. November. Nasty in-between month. Little warmth, little snow, bare trees, dead grass, lots of cool, rainy or overcast days.
12. February. Sick of winter by this point. Often the coldest month.

1. January (best chances of cold weather, still a benign sun angle) 2. December (lowest sun angles, good chance of cold shots, and still have January to look forward to) 3. February (disappointed that January is over, sun angle is increasing rapidly, but still a good shot of cold weather) 4. November (sun feels very benign, first true cold fronts coming through usually) 5. March (sun starts to feel harsh, but still a decent shot at cool weather) 6. June (highest sun angles of the year make it interesting, strongest storms happen, heat a novelty somewhat still) 7. July (summer is still interesting, feels like it "should be" hot, hot weather and strong sun starts to wear a bit thin towards the end) 8. May (sun is extremely harsh, still dry season in the first half, start getting our first wet season storms in the second half) 9. April (Sun is getting very harsh, wet season still a long way away and cold fronts stop coming through for the most part. A boring month.) 10. October (Heat and humidity is very old and exhausting by this point, and there's really no shot for cold fronts until the last ten days of the month) 11. August (My interest in summer starts waning rapidly, particularly in the second half of the month. Hottest month even though it's the summer month where you're least interested in heat) 12. September (Most exhausting month of the year. Interest in summer is 100% over and there's virtually zero chance at a cold front, get at least hurricanes happen though!)

1. July - simply the beeeest... better than all the reeeest! The one thing that really ticks me off is the hayfever but nvm, the daylight and warmth makes it worth it. 2. August - second most comfy temps, it gets a bit depressing right at the end with the incoming nights, but the sea is at its warmest temp, enabling many good swimming opportunities even there during warm or mild versions. Also a stable month, which is nice. 3. June - brightness is the greatest plus. There are still too much influence from the seasonal lag at this point to make it a glorious month though. So often the daylight is wasted in 15C and rainfall. 4. May - by then you really feel the light. The occasional heat might slip through too. Unfortunately days below 10C tend to creep in way too often with the Baltic still being cold. 5. September - far too dark and with a monstrous negative light change, but generally decent temps. 6. April - the entire summer's ahead and the odd 20C day may even slip in right at the end. I have a love-hate relationship with April though. It sometimes seems to snow more than it rains, especially inland 7. October - fair enough, early doors it's quite comfy and is therefore slightly better than March since you don't have to freeze your ass off. Also, daylight is generally quite comparable to earlier parts of March. 8. March - the sun is the biggest positive here. The perennial high-pressure systems drives for a lot of sunshine and often makes a push at or above 15C. This year we even had consecutive 18C days near the freezing Baltic Sea right at the end! 9. February - the daylight is indeed emerging here and at the end of the month the sun sets after 5.30 pm even with standard time. It's annoying seasonal lag, but at least the winter depression kind of ceases. 10. January - one of our most exciting months although deadly dark. This is when crazy cold spells usually happens, but also many days above freezing. It's a mixed bag and that's what saves it from an F. 11. December - derp. Too little permanent snow cover to make it viable for the latitude with all that darkness and drizzling 3C days. Having said that, everytime there's a white Xmas it propels it above November. 12. November -

July, usually warmest and might have some thunder once in every so few years June, more settled and sunnier than august August, usually a pile of shit actually but sometimes it reaches 20 degrees May/September, May is cooler but usually much sunnier April, cold but more sun and drier than cocktober October, dull boring shit with lots of drizzle and wind March, cold extension of winter often with substantial snow and windy shit weather December, only doesn't come last due to the fact there's christmas January, not too bad cause it feels like the fresh new start of the new year and it seems to go by quicker November, dark cold wet windy drizzly ugly depressing boring shit February - coldest month of winter and I am getting bored to shit of winter by this point. Snows a lot, usually unsettled and dull as fuck

For Socorro
1. November: Can be very nice if the climate behaves itself. Good chance of both warm and cold weather. 2. February: Pretty mild and comfortable with strong sun but still a chance of freezing weather. Also before the horrible spring winds. 3. September: Usually quite wet, green vegetation, but never uncomfortably hot like it can be earlier in summer 4. January: Nice chance for snow and very cold temps if we're lucky 5. December: Same as January but a little cloudier 6. October: Can be very pleasant with the occasional freeze or very hot like we had last year. Too inconsistent. 7. August: Wetter and more storms than September, but can be too hot sometimes 8. May: Very strong sun, chance of cool weather almost completely gone, dry 9. March: Extremely windy, but at least temps are comfortable 10. April: Even windier than March and getting warmer
I can't speak for June or July since I've never been here during those months.

I like most months except the tail end ones of some seasons that drag on forever. Too much seasonal lag. August, November and March seem pointless, all I do during those months is wait for the next season to begin.

Okay November should be downgraded, the darkness makes me sick already.
Doesn't make much sense for me to do a list discounting weather because weather is the only thing really changing throughout the year. Only exception would be a downgrade for August and September because Marburg is basically dead during these months.

I find it amazing that you rated November so high in the first place Having said that, you live farther south than me. Up here it's almost universally the most reviled month!

1. January: Coldest month 2. December: Cooling down quick and have January to look forward to. 3. February: Second coldest month but higher sun and only warmer weather ahead put it behind december. 4. November: temps drop off quick, finally doesn't feel like summer, lower sun angle and earlier sunsets contribute to "fall" feel even when it's warm. 5. March: Still a good chance of cool snaps and extended hot/humid stretches are rare. 6. April: Chance of cool weather to start the month but quickly goes downhill late. 7. October: Beginning of the month is essentially summer but the second half usually has the first real front of the fall, bonus of having the entire cool season ahead. 8. May: Last chance of cool snaps to begin the month. Humidity doesn't usually get too bad until late month. 9. June: longest days are nice and heat is still new, best thunderstorms happen often in this month. 10: September: Very shitty month overall but chance of hurricanes and cooler months ahead helps it 11: July: Way to hot and humid, not rainy enough, and no chance of hurricanes 12: August: Complete shitheap of a month. No redeeming qualities.

This is on average, but in recent years I'd put June 2nd and September 3rd.
July - warmest month, dry August - 2nd warmest, dry, sunniest % (excluding recent times) June - start of summer, usually dry, long days September - end of summer, dry May - warming up, the first warm days >25c April - dry, sunny, warming up October - mild but temps falling March - warming up, much sunnier and drier than winter, my birthday December - cold, but Xmas (it would be 2nd last without that) November - cloudy, rainy, leaves falling, dark, first frost February - warmest and sunniest winter month January - no redeeming qualities; cold, cloudy, no holidays

1. Sept- lingering pleasant warmth from summer but less humid and hot- always reliably pleasant! 2. March- very dynamic, chance for larger snowstorms, best ones have snowstorms + mild spells in the 50s and 60s afterward 3. May- balmy and reliably spring-like- but can be volatile with too much heat at the end of the month for my prefs 4. June- pleasantly moderately warm, severe wx can be interesting but also tornado risk, occasionally can get really hot and humid tho 5. July- a bit hot at times but enjoy the heat to some extent if it's not too hot and humid 6. August- same as july but shorter days 7. Oct- first frost so no more mosquito risk, cools down a bit fast though in MN, but indian summer weather in nicer ones 8. April- decent but can be too chilly and snowy in colder years, like cool rainy wx tho 9. Dec- holidays! Don't mind winter so much, also less extreme cold snaps typically, far too dried out though but can still get snowstorms 10. Nov- chilly, a lot more than my preference, in bad years it can basicslly be a winter month, less interesting than march and very dark 11. Feb- harsh cold snaps, but a sense that things are softening 12. Jan- too cold and dry, nasty subzero days but it's routine
