Well, what can I say? The month was probably the most stable ever, or at least in recent memory. All month was pretty much the same with constant nei gei fence-sitting weather. Utterly boring month. And unlikely May and June that were extremely sunny, July was likely much cloudier than average.

Highest high: 26.7C (12th)

Lowest high: 17.9C (2nd and 3rd)

Highest low: 17.0C (1st)

Lowest low: 9.7C (10th and 24th)

Anomalies from 91-10,

high: -0.8C

mean: -0.7C

low: +0.3C

precipitation: -33 mm (55%)

Hope August will be more variable.

July was amazing but of course I missed it. With my luck the first July I’m in foco will be record dry.

July was very wet although it was wetter than recorded due to the 7 PM day looping the huge storm on the 31st in half so much of it was entered on August 1st even though no rain fell in August. This robbed us of the 4th wettest day in any month and the 2nd wettest July:

Quite hot and humid. Ended up tying 1932 for 3rd hottest July on record. 3.5F warmer than normal and 0.57" less precip than normal.

First half of the month had decent t-storm activity. High pressure strengthened the 2nd half of the month with temps getting past 100F a majority of days and not much t-storm coverage. Did have a brief period of lower humidity and one night with low in the upper 60's.

July was an absolute shite month, jinxed by myself I feel, as I bought an air con unit for my bedroom after the hot weather in June

It was cooler than average, gloomier than average & much wetter than average. Only one single day had clear blue sky & sunshine, most other days had not only showers/rain but also strong winds too.

July 2023 was bang on average as far as temperatures go, but very wet in the first half of the month. While no rain fell in the second half of the month, it was still the fourth wettest July on record. All of the rain meant humidity rose to hellish levels, with dewpoints reaching 81°F (27°C) and heat indices up to 114°F (45.5°C). These were the worst dewpoints and heat indices I have ever experienced.
