How sunny is Halifax? Of the bunch, Duluth has the "best" sunshine hours, despite its horrific temperatures. But I'd go with Halifax for having the "mildest" winters of these terrible choices.

Any reason not picking Montpelier or Saranac lake? Halifax is obviously maritime influenced versus the majority of the zone is Northern Appalachian

Halifax- not as gloomy as I thought, having rather pleasant summers, and the least bad winters (although still freezing)
