Mérida is the name of three state capitals in three different countries of the Spanish-speaking world: Spain, Mexico, and Venezuela. All three have very different climates, which one do you like the best? Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico Merida, Extremadura, Spain Mérida, Mérida, Venezuela

The Venezuelan one, begrudgingly. It's too wet, but at least it's milder. The Spanish one would've been my choice if the winters weren't chilly.

Merida, Spain. The summers are a bit too hot but it has seasonality

as much as I dont like dry summer climates, I chose the Spanish one over the Venezuelan one cause it has actual winters comparatively.

The Mexican one if the data was even remotely believable... too many rounded figures for my liking, so Venezeula gets the tick. ( for the rainfall )

The Spanish Mérida had a maximum of 44.6C today, not far from its all-time high of 46.4C.

Mexico. Love that the dry season isn't totally dry. Yeah but a 'dry season' that is totally dry means one looks forward to and absolutely appreciates the first rains when they happen... There is endless media coverage ad nauseum of the first rains in Darwin...lol BTW, no rain here at home since 27th April....

As a mild weather lover, obviously Venezuela earns my vote, with an A- climate. Even though I would prefer greater seasonality and slightly more sunshine, everything else is really nice. On another note, the record lows for the Mexican Mérida is suspicious: April through November with 10ºC (50ºF)- how?
