Puerto Vallarta. A bit too great of precip seasonality but it's got plenty of storms and interesting record highs.

Mazatlán and it's not even close. Pretty much as good as it gets for a tropical climate. Moderate precipitation, some temperature variation.
Cabo San Lucas is the only one I've been to, I just went in July 2023. It's beautiful, but too arid even for me. Temps are pretty great though as far as tropical climates go, and the weather was generally perfect for the beach, save for the couple hours of showery weather one day.

Acapulco, as it has beach weather year round, and least severe cold snaps of the bunch (with a record low of 60°F)

Cabo. Too dry, but at least it is not that humid and it is somewhat "genetically related" to SoCal and Tijuana.

Acapulco, a decent sorta 'wet/dry' kinda climate.... I could feel right at home here....

Cancun. The dry season is way too long in the other places (seems to last most of the year).

Going to go with Mázatlan. Not wet overall but not lacking a true tropical rainy season.

Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco (voted Puerto Vallarta).

Cabo. Too dry, but at least it is not that humid and it is somewhat "genetically related" to SoCal and Tijuana. Cabo is pretty humid around September, but less humid overall than all the other places in this climate battle

Puerto Vallarta's t-storms, a warm 'winter" and somehow lower summer humidity than Mazatlàn makes it get the vote IMO. Also, Cabo San Lucas is the runner up (less humid and very sunny).

Cancun
Best precip distribution and comfortable temperatures. All are good though.
