Pittsburgh. Winter temps are much worse than Asheville but the later has just too little snow and too much summer humidity

Pittsburgh. Winter temps are much worse than Asheville but the later has just too little snow and too much summer humidity My thoughts exactly. Asheville would win if summer were cooler and winters snowier. 25” of snow and 3F cooler summers and I’d pick Asheville. Too much cold rain in Asheville too.

Asheville, likely has the best summers in the southeast US

College Station for plenty of winter/spring storms and the best potential for summer drought. Nice vegetation area as well, close to my ideal vegetation. Birmingham's winter/spring is even better, as in rainier, but summers there are too rainy.

You did see Johnstown was an option right? Obviously Johnstown PA for me. Way better than Pittsburgh

You did see Johnstown was an option right? Obviously Johnstown PA for me. Way better than Pittsburgh Changed it. For cold/snow lovers reference, it averages roughly 80-90" of snowfall per the Ebensburg/Somerset COOP sites nearby. (80" at Ebensburg, 96" at Somerset).

Asheville, the others have too hot summers or too cold winters

Asheville. Winters are the best of the lot, and summers remain decent.

College Station
Good stuff. Being the only one not to go below 20 F in the average year is a big plus.
