Two towns with rather similar temps, but with Alice being wetter and much more humid than Alice Springs. Alice Springs, Northern TerritoryAlice, Texas

I've never really been a fan of the Alice Springs climate per se.... dry as a dead dingo's donger mostly ( except when it gets flooding rains and damn near 1000mm in a La Nina year ) And cold as a witches tit in winter in some years with weeks of sub zero frosts like in July last year and wet and miserable sub 10c days every winter when a North West cloudband sweeps across Central Australia ( a la late JUne/early July this year ). Then some summers, weeks of consecutive +40c days and also oppressive nights and shithouse dp's when the Monsoon Trough invades the far south of the NT. So yeah/nah, not really a fan.... But Alice, Texas gets 'Blue Northers'..... fuck that !! lol. But other than that, not a bad climate in the scheme of things.... a bit wetter. its really the toss of a coin for me... Which went Alice Springs way....

Alice, TX. Truly a brilliant, sensational and fantastic climate

It's between the better rainfall, humidity, and diurnal ranges of TX and the lack of catatrophically cloudy cold snaps in Alice Springs. Went with TX though, I'd have to put up with the shitty winters for the extra rain.

Alice, TX. Both climates are abysmal but the texan one has more interesting winters and cooler average highs.

Alice, TX because it's not a desert.

The Texan one is better because it gets moderate rainfall and still has somewhat dry summers.

Alice TX.
Wetter, shorter summer, cooler winter, more variable and interesting, etc. Not seeing one + in Alice Springs' favour.

They're actually pretty similar climates so it's hard to choose. Went Alice, TX, for having less dry air (even if it's humid).
Edit: Actually, humid might be an understatement. Still going with TX though

Alice Springs, drier, less humid and more stable (i.e. no Blue Northers)

Alice for warmer winter nights and for "milder" summers

Alice Springs for the lack of humidity and cooler nights, although precipitation leaves much to be desired.
