I was searching for Kōchi Japan, but came across the Indian city instead. Two very wet climates. Two climates with strong monsoons, one tropical, the other temperate/subtropical. One in India, one in Japan. Which climate do you prefer? Kochi, India Kochi, Japan

My god, both of them are horror shows. Disgustingly wet monsoonal climates, too cloudy in the summer.
I will have to go with the Japanese one since it's Nov-April period isn't that bad.
In Kochi India, from Jun-Oct it would be best for you to morph yourself into a reptile or amphibian.

India
Yeah the summers are washed out, but at least it doesn't get cold in the winter.

Japan for the amazing temps, and at least it gets some cold/mild rain. Both precipitation patterns are reprehensible though.

You aren't a true Kochi if you aren't rainy as fuck. I go with the Japanese one because of the better temperatures and seasonality.

They're both wet, so I'll choose the warmer one, India

Japan by far. Don't even need to look at the climate tables.

Now Kochi, India is a ball tearer of a monsoonal climate ! mine pales into insignificance in comparison....

Kochi, India for the lack of a cool season.

Yikes! Two of the worst of their kinds. Both have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Humid, wet, cloudy...Maybe I'll give the edge to the Indian one for having a "dry season". The Japanese one looks like it has cold rain too. Ukh!

Japan, at least it has comfortable (although cloudy) weather in its shoulder seasons, and cold winters for variety. Kochi has decent winters, but with too warm nights and those are not winters!
