The island of Utö in the municipality Parainen is the southernmost inhabited island in Finland (59.4N). The warmest year on record was 2020, which is also the Finnish all-time record. The hardiness zone of 9b is obviously a Finnish record as well. Rate that year, I'm sure it will get GREAT ratings :
I'll give it an E. It's livable. That's it.

D, winter is mild and stable, very nice. Rest of the year is just too cool though, and too rainy in July-August.

May-September look alright, especially the summers which look quite nice.
The cold season though? Fuck man.

It's correct. Utö is the sunniest location in Finland (which has recorded sunshine for a long time).

Shouldn't much of the year be mild and comfortable to you?

June to September would be, but that's 4 out of 12 months. The rest are mindnumbing boring cold where it doesn't really snow or anything interesting and April-May-Oct are very cool. My dream climate has 15°C highs in winter to 22°C in summer approximately.

The whole January ranged only between 0.0C and 7.6C, ffs, and some of the following months weren't much better. Anyway, it's a E for me.

Cold for the most part, but the summer is like pleasant, dryish Sydney CBD winter. Excellent for hiking and other outdoor activities. So that's the +

Oh that's terrible. Spring and summer would be tolerable with the sunshine. Winter has no redeeming qualities. D

Not too bad for Sweden, but still a D in my book. Utö has mildly warm, sunny and dry summers (a bit cool however), but unfortunately there is still strong seasonal lag and cold, dark and drizzly winters.
