As per the thread title, would you rather summer or winter to be more stable in terms of temperatures? The actual averages are up to you to decide.

Summer, because the temps themselves are both more interesting and more comfortable.
Variability in winter makes cold temps more tolerable, since there'll at least be something to pay attention to.

Summer should be more stable although I still like variability. In summer, I mostly care about storms so variability is much less important than in winter.

Summer.
Summer instability = arctic ass lows and polar assaults. Summer instability can go and FUCK itself.

Summer of course. I need reliable heat, and getting polar assaults and feeling cold in summer is what it's supposed to be in, the warmest time of year? Nope.

Summer. Variability in summer isnβt bad per say but I just donβt care that much about it. I want summer to be pleasant with occasional high quality storms. In a climate like the one I live in Summer is going to be unbearably hot and sticky no matter what anyway. In other seasons variability is very important.

Summer
The only instabilities I want in summer are heatwaves and T-storms. Winter should have polar air intrusions and more varied weather, but I'm also OK with some warmer air intrusions from Africa (in February that is).

Winter. I prefer stable cold periods to extreme cold snaps for 5 days then a week thaw
Summer I wouldn't mind stable warmth to cool snaps and heat waves but summer here is usually boring so more variety wouldn't be a bad thing

Summer, always.

Summer, because summer variability means feeling chilly in what should be the season of heat. Screw that!!

Winter so citrus can be grown in cool climates

I prefer stable winters as the winters where I live are awful. One day it can snow and remain below 5C all day, while the next the temperature might rise to 25C by noon. I would prefer a winter with permanent subfreezing temperatures until spring.
I quite enjoy variable summers, it makes my least favourite season a little more tolerable and interesting.

Summer should be more stable. Unfortunately, it's the opposite here.

Winter should be more stable, as winter variability tends to mean disgusting cold snaps, and summer variability could mean epic isolated days of extreme heat as is the case in southern Australia and California. Winter, I fucking hate winter cold snaps This.

I don't know. Stability sucks. Before coming to Tarragona, I would have easily said summer, but stable summers turned out to be absolutely disgusting, especially with little to no rainfall. I guess it depends on the average summer and winter temperatures and precipitation.

Summer should and is more stable here. However, instead of having extended overcast and sunny periods, I would prefer a partly cloudy sky
