Which rain cloud do you like more? I prefer Cumulonumbis since it rains more water in a shorter period of time, and it results in more interesting weather conditions, while the Nimbostratus can last for days, and not offer anything interesting.
If Im outside, however, Id prefer to be under a Nimbostratus cloud because there is no risk of getting struck by lightning.

Nimbostratus easily. I hate spotty convective storms with cumulonimbus. Nimbostratus bring nice, predictable, steady frontal rains and storms.

Hot take: Nimbostratus because usually I don't have to worry about localized flooding or cancelling plans or being awake for the night with Nimbostratus...
