This climate is notable for often having the coldest summer nights in the Lower 48, and for being one of the few subarctic climates there. My own rating is an F, of course. This climate is absolutely horrific!

E-, at least it's got warm, sunny, dry summer days and relatively wet winters. That is where the positives end, this is a shitty climate no doubt.

D-, cold gobshite
Only redeeming feature is that it's not a hypercloudy hellhole (at least in the warm time of year), but that's about it

F, no growing season. Got down to 31 F one night while I stayed there in July 2020.

Summers lows are too cold, even for me.

E for me, as the warm summer highs and sunny summers partly compensate for the freezing nights year-round; along with far too prolonged and cold winters. When looking at the Wikipedia image of Stanley, I am surprised that stunted, subalpine trees could grow; despite the likely very short frost-free season!

D-
It has these big ass diurnals, not something I'm fond of, I don't want to be freezing in the summer. I'd imagine it to be decently sunny, and snow is a plus too. It doesn't have comfortable days at all, there's no heat and it's too cold for too long.
