DJF mean high is below freezing so obviously much colder than I actually want.
Because winter is so cold, the climate looks pretty different than my dream climate. Since winter is much too cold for me, I compensated with warmer springs so I’d have a rapid warmup and a long pleasant season. Additionally as November-March are no longer pleasant outdoor months, I made spring and summer drier than ideal so there’s more good outside weather. Winter wouldn’t be bad though with tons of snow, variability, some mild days and strong seasonal lead.
November sucks though, no real way to make it decent while still having a relatively realistic fall cool down.
