I see that Melbourne is the favorite kid of this forum, frequently showered with love and admiration, especially by the Oz posters who simply love it. That inspired me to create this climate battle thread. Now Athens happens to be at the same latitude as Melbourne, so it would be interesting to see how this goes.

Athens for the properly hot dry sunny summers and relatively wet winters with less boring drizzle. Athens also has better, warmer springs.

Melbourne, because the weather here is like a box of chocolates - you'll never know what you're going to get.
For real though, it's because of the milder and wetter summers even if it's bipolar.
