The fair weather index is an index I made some time ago that aims to calculate how "fair" or pleasant a climate is.

Arequipa, in Peru, with a fair weather index score of 20, is likely the highest-scoring climate on Earth. It scores so well thanks to its perpetually comfortable temperatures
, lack of rain , and abundant sunshine.

On the other hand, Huoshan County in inland southern China gets a meager score, with only 2 or 3 points. At first glance, it doesn't seem like the worst climate in the world, however it scores low due to its very cold winters
, very hot summers , excessive rainfall , constant cloudiness , and frequent thunderstorms .
