Key West is the southernmost city in the contiguous United States and the westernmost island connected by highway in the Florida Keys.
Climate: Key West has a tropical savanna climate with minimal temperature variations throughout the year. The annual temperature range is around 15 °F, with the lowest recorded temperature being 41 °F. The location experiences easterly tradewinds and sea breezes, preventing extreme summertime heat. High temperatures rarely exceed 95 °F, occurring between June and September. Key West has a two-season climate, with a dry period from November to April and a wet season from May to October, marked by tropical downpours.
The city is in USDA plant hardiness zone 12a, with an annual mean minimum temperature of 50 °F. Key West is susceptible to hurricanes, with Hurricane Irma in 2017 being the most recent major impact. The city's vulnerability to hurricanes is acknowledged, and measures, such as NOAA's hurricane-resistant building, have been implemented to mitigate potential damage.

E, pretty bad. November-April are nice but summer is brutal and seems to get less storms than most of Florida.

Thats an A- .... very nice tropical climate..... good to see a Wikibox without the colour blue in the first 8 lines..... Would be a slightly higher rating if the rainfall was a bit more....

C-, too hot and humid for most of the year; but with a good amount of downpours (should be more) and tons of sunshine

B-
Not bad for a tropical climate. The good thing is that there is a sea breeze, making it more bearable and not stuffy. Nice sea temperatures as well.

D+. Just too hot and humid most of the year with a lack of cool weather, and a bit dry for the temps

A-. Pretty good, though underwhelming in the T-storm count by FL standards and the less coastcucked locations in FL are better temp-wise

D. Really boring and dry, with extreme warm lows for much of the year. Bad place for a weather enthusiast.
