Very similar question to Hey Babu's thread from 2021, but with a twist: which summer month would you prefer to have as the warmest?
For myself, I'd like July to be the warmest month of the year, like the majority of NH climates. August shouldn't cool substantially from June/July (the opposite of my preference for how Feb should ideally warm up significantly from Dec/Jan in winter) - makes summer last longer and hot temps with a bit lower solar angles (and as one is already acclimatized to the heat) are quite pleasant.
(Southern Hemisphere months are in parentheses in the poll)

July, but I don't mind August being the warmest month either. July and August should be virtually identical in temperature anyway, with the warmest period of the year being the last week of July and the first week of August.
I hate June being the warmest month. Front-loaded summers are shit.

Ideally July, but August should be very similar to July, I want both of them to be hot.

August - because it's the last summer month; what better way for summer to end in style than with its last month being the warmest. July and August are very similar here, so you can't really know which month will be the warmest, although the best bet would be July. I don't want June to be the warmest, unless it breaks a record in that instance.

July or August. June should be significantly cooler due to the stronger sun and for a longer period of warming. Donβt really care either way between July and august, they should be very similar.

August should be the warmest, closely followed by July. June should be significantly cooler.

Late July, and normally hottest day of the year occurs anytime between late June to mid August.

I like having a below seasonal July and then have summer end in style in late August building up to Labour Day weekend being the hottest time of the summer. Then let a big cold front swing through and knock it back down to normal September temperatures.

I like February to be slightly warmer than January. I also want March and December to roughly have the same temperatures.

February should be the same or slightly warmer than January. On average, the first week of February is the warmest time of year in Auckland.

July.
I hate when August is sweltering and I'm tired of summer. I still want August to be slightly hotter than June however; I don't want it feeling like a fall month.

July or August, as long as they are both similar (eg 2019 or 2022). June as the warmest month usually means something has gone horribly wrong (eg 1986 or 2023).
