Interstate 90 (I-90) is an east–west transcontinental freeway and the longest Interstate Highway in the United States at 3,021 miles (4,862 km). It begins in Seattle, Washington, and travels through the Pacific Northwest, Mountain West, Great Plains, Midwest, and the Northeast, ending in Boston, Massachusetts. The highway serves 13 states and has 15 auxiliary routes, primarily in major cities such as Chicago, Cleveland, Buffalo, and Rochester. So, which climate near the longest Interstate highway in the U.S. is your favorite? Boston, MA Albany, NY Buffalo, NY Cleveland, OH Chicago, IL Madison, WI Rochester, MN Sioux Falls, SD Rapid City, SD Billings, MT Spokane, WA Seattle, WA I'm going with Chicago out of these climates, for the warmest summers. None are great though.

Rapid City.
FYI, the airport isn’t representative as it’s farther out on the plains. The downtown station gets 20” of precipitation, 54” of snow, slightly cooler summer highs and much warmer lows year round.

Seattle easily, only good one of these. Mild rainy winters and dry summers.

They're all horrible, can't even be bothered to vote.
The east-west interstate with the best climates would be I-10 or I-4.

Chicago. All have cold winters, so I'll pick the one with the strongest summers.

Seatle. Not good but it has mild winters and nice, dry sunny summers. Next favorite are Boston and Spokane.

Boston, speaking from experience. It's not extremely cold or cloudy in winter but still has a warm, humid summer.
Chicago and Seattle are fine tradeoffs. The others just seem strictly worse, either too cold, dry, or cloudy.

Chicago
Best summers of the bunch, relatively equable winters compared to some of the choices, and no offensively dry season.

Seattle and then Spokane.
However, if you were to average the two out, you'd have a solid A climate.

Chicago gets the most of what I want overall (i.e. warmest summers). All are shit though.

Chicago from this pretty solid lineup. Only Seattle is actually bad out of this selection.
