The Canary Islands are well known for their palm trees and their boring climates. Which one would you prefer? Santa Cruz de la Palma Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Very similar temps so I'll choose the one with more rainfall. La Palma.

Las Palmas. Both deserts, so pick the warmer and sunnier one with slightly larger diurnals. Easy

Since both are too dry, Las Palmas is more preferable for the larger diurnals and greater sun. I didn't expect La Palma to be that cloudy- that's less than my hometown by almost 400 hours

Another thread that got buried
I pick La Palma for more rainfall, but overall they're pretty similar.

Santa Cruz de La Palma for being semiarid and not arid.

Las Palmas. Both are quite dry, so I went with the one with higher sunshine, even if it is much more arid.

La Palma, not quite so hot in summer.

If it's gonna be boring, then it might as well be sunny and warmer in the summer, so Las Palmas it is.
