Nantes and Seattle both located around 47 degrees north, and have roughly similar temperatures year-round. A main difference is that Seattle has a more pronounced Mediterranean precipitation pattern, with wetter winters and drier summers.

Seattle for fewer thunderstorms and more stable minimum temp ranges in summer(i.e. significantly fewer days with lows above 18ยฐC). Both are considered grade A climates though.
