Nantes and Seattle both located around 47 degrees north, and have roughly similar temperatures year-round. A main difference is that Seattle has a more pronounced Mediterranean precipitation pattern, with wetter winters and drier summers.   |

Seattle for fewer thunderstorms and more stable minimum temp ranges in summer(i.e. significantly fewer days with lows above 18°C). Both are considered grade A climates though.
