greysrigging Hey cheers! The Pilbara has some excellent climates as far as temperature patterns are concerned - hadn't been familiar with Dampier or Barrow Island before but I'm a big fan of both. I already knew about Rockhampton though - in fact I included it as my favorite climate in Australia in a climate battle a while back. Good finds! Hard to fault any of these places.

Updated my dream climate, using Kiruna as a template. That's your dream climate? A place that can barely support any trees due to the sheer cold? That's unique!

Not a new dream climate yet but I made a year of daily data that my next dream climate will be based on. Just did weather Iโd like, wasnโt aiming for specific averages so that it would be more authentic.

Hereโs my newest dream climate. Changes -colder April-June -colder winter -wetter -snowier -slightly more even sunshine distribution -coldest, wettest and snowiest dream climate Iโve made *June snowfall is actually 0.1โ, but it messed up the format of the weather box so I listed a trace, basically occurs once a decade -average is 51 thunderstorms a year

๐๐ฟMรถrรถn๐๐ฟ A HUGE step in the right direction. rpvan I've always found your dream climate to be one of the most interesting here, with its huge contrasts in temperatures and precipitation, even despite the fact I'd be miserable in those cold winters.

I think it's pretty unique because most people either tend to love the cold or heat and not both. I like the Mediterranean precip pattern with cold/snowy winters and hot/dry summers. There are very few actual places that come even close to it so it's pretty unfortunate, lol. There are a couple places in interior Washington and the BC southern interior that are kinda similar, but they're much less extreme both on temps and precip.

I like polar/subarctic climates and mild/moderate tropical climates. Not a fan of much in between but my current location satisfies both of those itches very well. Main things I hate are extreme heat and little precip.

My dream climate: The averages all happen to be whole numbers, it's a very "scientific" climate.

Updates to Palomares-Increased diurnal variation throughout the year -Added dew point data -Decreased precipitation days -Increased snowfall slightly, but decreased snow cover days -Increased summer sunshine and record highs -Warmed spring and cooled fall (increased seasonal lead)

Eh, summers in my dream climate are still significantly hotter and longer, not to mention the more intense rainfall that occurs in my dream climate, especially in spring. Theyโre very similar, and Iโd obviously rate yours an A+ as well, but theyโre a bit more different than one would think.
