Tentative new version, possible I'd make summer and early fall warmer but I'm good with this for now. Not sure how realistic those dews are, kind of just put them in without a ton of thought: Thunder days per month: Mean annual min: 28.9 f Mean annual max: 100.2 f Winter is a very dynamic season with occasional cold front storms, showery days, unusual diurnal cycles with temps warming or cooling throughout the day, light rainy, drizzly days, and the occasional wet snow. Snow rarely sticks more than a day. Spring is dominated by low pressure, with increased frequency of thunderstorms. April and May will get occasional day-long moderate to heavy rain. Severe storms and hail are also common in spring. Low pressure systems decrease in frequency in June, a month in which things dry out before the monsoon hits in July. Most days have afternoon thunderstorms, although they are typically brief with lots of thunder, lightning, and small hail. Fall is dry, sunny, and benign. Wind speeds are low most days outside of July and August but can be gusty during storms or cold fronts.

I finally got around to making the sun data make sense. I'll do a proper revision at some point soon.

Sunshine hours now included. Didn't change anything. I'm very happy with this version.

Use daily means and RH based on approximate hourly data for it, as some might know, humid climates that see precip cooling see daily means cooler than the mean temp based on max/min / 2. But otherwise my ideal remains the same:

This is my new and vastly improved dream climate. Overall everything is cooler and more moderate, with the most pronounced changes in winter. I've really grown to appreciate the colder weather in winter (still not too cold though)in terms of comfort over most things. I also felt like I was missing a proper cool season to contrast with the warmer months. I didn't bother to add avg snow as it doesn't get much except for the occasional year when quite a lot can accumulate. Although not as hot as before, summers are still warm/quite hot, with short-lived but rather intense (for my standards) heatwaves and some intense thunderstorms, all for the novelty. Precipitation wise there's still a good deal of rain, and it's mostly made up of heavy downpours/thunderstorms, but it's not as rainy as before. I've also shifted more towards a spring/autumn peak after being inspired by humid subtropical climates in Southern Europe. I think this is pretty realistic except for maybe too sharp of a drop of temps in October but that's what I like. All in all, this is basically a more moderate version of somewhere in the Po Valley or somewhere in Southern France.

Behold my new new climate. I've been re-evaluating the updated climate I posted last week and I'm giving into the desire to have a climate that's more 4 seasons. As you may be able to tell, I've really been inspired by the mid-atlantic climates in the US but wanted something with slightly less oppressive summers, warmer record lows and zero seasonal lag. Overall, the biggest change is winters have gotten colder (but still not frigid) and there's snow averages now! Precip is also now much more evenly spread and I've increased diurnals slightly. I've also made some other minor tweaks to sun hours, record highs, and avg temps in spring and autumn.

So far the weather in my new climate has been great, though I'm a little afraid of what's to come considering how cold it can get already, and would want a slightly longer summer. Despite my new climate being cooler than my preferences, I haven't consistently longed for warmth so far. I also realize I like the recent cool sunny days, even if I really want rain now. Considering this, I made temps from spring to fall (very slightly) cooler and the precip pattern (very slightly) more unbalanced.

My latest and greatest Averages 30 thunderstorm days a year This is better than that hypersnowy abomination that was the previous iteration of Spring City but it is still too mediocre for me to rate above a D.
