We had the Toronto vs Vancouver thread which had very close results, and now I'm pitting Vancouver against Hong Kong to see how it goes. There's a few reasons why I chose these two cities: - Huge HK diaspora in Vancouver, to the point it's sometimes referred to as "Hongcouver" - Both cities are on the Pacific, and known for their beautiful backdrop against mountains - Very different climatically, but share the trait of being rather wet and cloudy Hong Kong Vancouver

Hong Kong, goes without saying
I don't care for the other cold wet climate that gets a lot of skin-penetrating cold rot and and unforgivable crummers.

Hong Kong, despite it being a suffocating, wet ass monsoonal trash. I don't like any of them.

Does most of that summer rain in Hong Kong come as thunderstorms?

Hong Kong, way better and more interesting in every way.
Vancouver belongs to a special Koppen group called "Sc" for Suicide. Ass of a climate.

They're both like each other in terms of shittyness (rainy, cloudy hellholes), but the warmer climate still wins.
