Jesus christ these are terrible. Even the "ideal" one is a pile of dogshit with a freezing cold April and an extreme amount of rain days in a cool May. Spring never really seems to come.

Fuck, neither are good. One has abysmal seasonal lag, complete with April freezes and near-nonstop rain (as in precip days, not totals) in May, both of which would drive me fucking spare; and the other sees no warmth whatsoever in winter and early spring, but then is compensated by slightly better late spring/summer temps, but also fewer storms in summer.
I guess I'll have to go with the shitty one, the warmer spring would feel better after the colder winter.

These are both really bad for different reasons.
The "shitty" one is less bad despite the colder winters. It has awesome hot, dry summers and is far warmer in spring. That cold and snow outside of winter in the "ideal" version is absolutely dastardly and completely disqualifies that version from winning.
