. Here's a battle between the worst subtropical mediterranean climate and the best subarctic climate.
Technically the subtropical wasteland fits the humid subtropical category (Cfa) under the -3C Koppen isotherm, despite being more akin to a continental or an oceanic climate or even a mediterranean climate with cold winters.
The subarctic paradise also fits the subpolar category (Dwc) under Koppen due to only having 3 months above 10C.
And no, the subtropical one does not get thunderstorms, unlike the subarctic one. So choose wisely.
