This is my ideal climate. Coolmanland has a pronounced med pattern and relatively low annual precipitation. Winters are slightly colder than Seattle's (where I live) and are subject to more arctic air intrusions, making for more snowfall. I cranked up the heat in spring and summer. Coolmanland is in USDA zone 8a (10-15F) and is characterized by relatively moderate temperatures year-round and a general lack of extremes, as indicated by the modest record highs and lows.

C+
What is preferable: - Colder winters with more snow - Warmer shoulder seasons and summers (both low and high temps)
I added a + because I assume it's decently sunny during the year because of all that dryness. @coolman18 How much sun does it get? Record highs and lows are acceptable.

Surprised you donโt want more snowfall. Also how many thunderstorms does it get?
Temps are great but I donโt like the precipitation pattern.

I wanted the snowfall to be realistic with the temps and monthly precipitation. And it's enough snow for me. Not every year is gonna have exactly 16 inches of snow. Some will have below-average snowfall but others will have above-average. In 2021 and 2019 we had more than triple our average yearly snowfall in Seattle. Imagine what an exceptionally snowy year would look like in my dream climate. There could be years with close to 50 inches of snow. And even in the years with below-average snowfall, no snow at all would be pretty unlikely.

Thunderstorms aren't that important to me and I want them to stay away from my lovely dry summers. As far as precipitation days go, it's like Seattle where you don't get a lot of torrential downpours (a lot of precipitation falling in a short amount of time) but rather smaller amounts of precipitation falling over the course of more days.

Gets a C- then. 3 thunderstorms a year is pretty terrible. I like that it gets a lot of light rain as opposed to heavy rain but thereโs a severe lack of interesting weather.

D-. Pretty bad with suicidal winters and being mostly devoid of warmth and interesting weather.

A-, decent albeit coolish temps and good dry summers. Could use less snow and more spring rain.

B+. I have an impression that this one's warmer & drier version of Puyallup. If record highs in JUL, AUG, SEP were cooler and record lows in DEC, JAN, FEB were warmer I could give A-.

I'll go with C-
Winters suck, summer temperatures are good but way too dry.
