Here's an interesting climate I found. It's a highland US upper South climate that's one of the wettest places in the eastern US, getting about 2x as much precipitation as nearby lowland areas. Snow is pretty minimal, despite having very wet winters with temps around freezing and being at altitude. I give it a C-. Highlands is one of the wettest places in the eastern US, though Mount Washington does beat it slightly.

D+ Shit with boring lukewarm crummers Just FYI, Lake Toxaway is a bit wetter than Highlands (which is the wettest WX station in NC):

C+. All that heavy rain in the cool season sucks and too little snow for how cold it is. Not bad though and April-September is pretty nice.

Lake Toxaway is the wettest of all sites in the eastern U.S. with 1991-2020 NCDC normals by absolute precip totals, Mt. Washington is a bit wetter based on precip (comes in second wettest by precip totals) + evapotranspiration (lower in colder temps) though.

Good example of the Appalachian temperate rainforest. It's a D-, shitty washout crummers and generally too cold. At least winter lacks sustained snow cover and gets bucketloads of cold rain.

E-
Wet sludgy winters with freezing rain I can imagine. Uncomfortable and probably gloomy asf. Summers are pleasant, if a bit too rainy. Which saves it from an F.
