During World War II, starting from 1942, the United States started a massive project to create a nuclear bomb. The United States government set aside three remote, top-secret locations to build and develop the bomb:ย - Oak Ridge, Tennessee
- Richland, Washington
- Los Alamos, New Mexico
Which one has your favorite climate?
More information here
Oak Ridge, Tennessee Oak Ridge, in eastern Tennessee, was selected to enrich uranium.ย
Richland, Washington Hanford, Washington, in eastern Washington near Richland, was selected to produce plutonium.
Los Alamos, New MexicoJ. Robert Oppenheimer chose this idyllic site near Santa Fe to engineer the bomb.

Great thread idea. Oak Ridge, TN for being the warmest overall. Richland is too dry despite the drier weather. Los Alamos is too cold at night.

Oak Ridge. Los Alamos has A+ summers but winter is pretty shitty and too dry in spring/early summer.

Los Alamos by far.
Richland is in one of the worst spots in the PNW.
Oakridge is boring.

Los Alamos. Winters aren't at the standard but are dry which I prefer. It has comfortable nights in summer and a lack of humidity, and has a convective summer rain pattern so gets my vote. Tennessee is too warm in summer and Washington is a little too warm in summer with no convective season.

Oak Ridge - my only objection is that it's too wet overall. Richland has somewhat decent temperatures, but it's too dry.

Oak Ridge for the sensible warm temps, the others are too chilly

They're all decent, but I pick Richland for being the driest.
