Thats a very cold forecast for the UK. Where the hell is Nenthead? London... ''Winter'' Nenthead is a mining settlement which lies on the North Pennines of the Cumbria-Northumberland border, precisely the Alston Moor. The settlement itself is elevated by 437-454 m AMSL upon the fells and lies at 54.8° N on a rather northeasterly position, thus being much colder than London. You must get alot of snow up there then.

You must get alot of snow up there then. Aye, about 59-64 days of annual snowfall up here. The midwinter range at 437 AMSL is –2.1° C / 3.3° C; the midsummer range is 8.9° C / 17.4° C. Still fucken dogshit for its latitude, but at least it's not bloody Ireland!

Colder, though still warmer than normal weather is allegedly a week away. I'll believe it when I see it.

you might be onto something here Yeah sure 28°/13° would be a nice summer heatwave week here but it'd look like 26-28-30-30-31-27-24 and 11-13-13-14-15-13-12 instead of that bonkers stuff

Ew no! One ice day might be nice to experience, but one of the sunny ones so I can try to warm up in the sun lol.
