Rain developing tomorrow as a front hits sometime tomorrow afternoon, with a lul on tuesday and wednesday before another strong frontal system hits thursday bringing wet and windy weather. This will be followed by possibly the first <15C high of the year, with showers this could result in flurries on Bluff Knoll (the only place with occasional snowfall in WA). Next weekend will see showers clear with cold days.

The heat is showing no signs of letting up. I'm getting kind of sick of this, especially with no air con at work. I'd like to see some proper heavy rainstorms (and milder highs) instead.

July looks like it might finally realise that it's a summer month, after a truly dreadful 2007 style start. Not this year. Downgrade of epic proportions. I'll take a terrible July if it means we get a good August.

I want us to get a decent month now as we all know that August not capable of being good any more. There has never been a summer that had a bad June/July and then a good August. There have been a few that had a terrible June/July and an average August. 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2012 spring to mind.

It would be amazing if we could have a good spring result in a good summer as well for once, at the moment they appear to be mutually exclusive and whilst this April-May was amazing I’d rather have those positive anomalies in summer rather than stratocrapulus crap in July

At least a bit better for now. No doubt it will be severely downgraded and this Scottish subpolar stratocrapulus will continue.

Finally going back to average, but that's not saying much. Still above average until the 20th (Mon).

I've seen the thermometer reading as high as 37 C (probably a bit high) but probably 30-33 C is typical without aircon during the afternoon.

The highest indoor temperature I've seen was 35°C last August, but typical afternoon indoor temperatures are in the 28-31°C range. It's 26°C in the living room right now and it feels perfect.

Where are you? I usually set the air con to 28 C, which is just right for me.
