Nice and springlike to start the week followed by a return to winter for the start of April and Easter 4 day weekend.. fucking typical bullshit so no chance of spending much time outside during Easter and I’ll miss the sunny days next week  |

Bit of an "Indian Summer" heading into April, which is usually a good sign for the coming winter—often means that the blocking highs in the Southern Ocean are already being used up, so by winter there should be little to none left to impede the LWT (westerly stormtracks). 2019 had this same pattern, and led to a superbly snowy winter.  Further bolstering my hopes, IOD slightly neg for winter:  Blocking highs (+AAO) shown to peak in mid-May:  |
