Warm end to March, going cold next week, with possible snow. 22.2C is our current March record high, it could be broken tomorrow if the forecast is in the right ballpark.

Noice. We desperately need precip tho. That cooldown could come with storms instead of that pathetic dry cool change. Add some snow in early April for good measure and that forecast would be ace. Btw... 22 months above average and counting...

It's actually meant to be at least partly cloudy on all of these days. Which is the reverse from weeks gone by.

Two more nice days. Hopefully it turns out to be sunnier in the long term. It's not always so accurate this time of year...

We are in the middle of the European warm wave as well, it definitively feels like the best warm days in middle spring that we tend to get here around Turin. At the end I spent most of the afternoon looking at the open window of the office wondering: "why I have to stay here instead of going outside? That's unfair!" And it looks even more unfair looking at the Easter weekend forecast: And even less so up to my village, where I'm likely to return for Easter: (Notice that when this site writes "poco nuvoloso" = "slightly cloudy", we usually get mostly cloudy days instead)

The office? No wonder corona is spreading so much.

Uhm, I used the wrong word probably... when I say office I usually mean the workplace in general, with the university labs and all the rest. The general rule at the university in here in general is to keep the research activity go on, to don't exceed the 50% of the lab capacity and to alternate activities at the workplace and smart working, so I'm in there 2-3 days per week on average.

Indian Summer upgraded to 7 days long! Best heatwave since November 2020, and tenfold better than any of the """summer""" months. Just like in the legendary Old Age Climate of Yore.

Finally some real chance of rain, and a decent April cooldown in terms of max temps (lows still absurdly high with the those cloudy NE winds, though)

This forecast is like Macron, trying to please everybody from heat lovers to cold foamers, with a 80 high, freezes and a sleet picto for good measure.

^ Practically the same here, but also to please the thunderstorm lovers! NWS is a bit too conservative on highs, but a 47°F high would be 1°F shy of the coldest April high on record.
