This passes for a good forecast this time of year lol. For those of you in normal climates, yes, 79/77 for days on end is possible. It'll be "dry" as well with dews around 60F and winds of 25-35mph from the east.

Ugh Remarkable how WO and SMHI differ in their forecast for tomorrow. WO has 15h of sunshine, and SMHI has overcast almost all day.

This is a very bad forecast, but how bad really? - Well, bad.
The normal average high during this forecast period according to the 1991-2020 normals should be 17.2C. The average high with this forecast equals to 13.3C. For comparison during 2003-2020 at the Artukainen station the average between 23 and 30 April is 12.5C

It seems a large proportion of Europe is also seeing below average temps.
This is pretty unprecedented, we've been consistently below average all year now, however since late March it has been awful, towards the end of May our average should be close to 20c but we're still struggling in mid teens and no end in sight. Fair enough you get some bad months but this entire spring has been utter shit

Where is Amnesty International FFS? This forecast violates our universal human rights.

This May did just scrape a 20.4c day last week, which will mean this month holds the title of the coldest warmest day of any May.

April and May must average 10+ 20C days in a normal year by now in London? Our warmest was 17.8C, which is a fairly average mid May temperature ffs! If we're rewarded with a hot summer then I don't mind this shit!

I can't see this summer as being anything other than well below average.

Third write-off May in a row. Subarctic climate, nothing better to expect. I do not expect anything warm in Latvia neither.

This is the third year in a row that has had a below average May. Since 2014, only two Mays have been above average. The last 10 years has seen 3 above average Mays.

There has never been a May that failed to reach 20c. May 1996, the coldest May on record, managed to record 26.1c and had 3 days over 20c. May 1984, the second coldest May on record, had 2 days above 20c with a max of 23.0c.
