Subarctic climate, nothing better to expect. I do not expect anything warm in Latvia neither. Even Riga has been warmer than London this year! We have had 4 nice days in this May, that's it. Currently, we are more than 1 degree below average and looks like this month will finish below average...

Average max is currently 2.8c below average and falling, believe it or not!

Hopefully it picks up at the end of May, such a waste of this time of year which is great with the long day length

Yep, now the forecast is playing a cruel joke on us. Don't worry, it'll be at least 5-10c cooler by the time 30th May gets here.

Good luck. I'd better buy tickets to Spain.

Warm and sunny tomorrow before two fronts arrive on Saturday PM and Sunday, the latter having much cooler change and bringing some very cold weather on Monday. A warming period next week with generally fine weather will turn wet and windy as another front is forecast the weekend of the 28th-29th; still too far off to be exact.

There has never been a May that failed to reach 20c. May 1996, the coldest May on record, managed to record 26.1c and had 3 days over 20c. May 1984, the second coldest May on record, had 2 days above 20c with a max of 23.0c.
Turku has managed this feat in 5 Mays, the last as recently as 2015. The others were in 1991, 1987 (of course), and twice in the 60s.

Remarkably shitty forecast. Kronoby is gonna have some incredibly remarkably cool highs. Must be record breaking, surely. Remarkably normal forecast in Trondheim.

Pretty lackluster. Could be more offensive I guess. Remarkably shitty forecast. Kronoby is gonna have some incredibly remarkably cool highs. Must be record breaking, surely. Remarkably normal forecast in Trondheim. Holy shit. I like your post not because I think these forecasts are good, but because of the epicness of Kronoby's cool temps.

I think I can count the days when I layed outside on one hand. Last year I'd have spent dozen of days lounging outside by now.

Last year I'd have spent dozen of days lounging outside by now. I think there have been about 4-5 days here this year that were comfortable to be outside in the shade; 3 in March, 1 in April and 1 in May! This spring will be remembered for all the wrong reasons!

One final burst of sunny mild weather, and probably the last 20C for at least 2 and a half months.
