Not bad. Just want snow or dry weather.

A pulse of drier air pushing in ( typical of April, a transition month ). Can't recall ever seeing 6 consecutive days of 35c in the forecast at Darwin Airport in April.

Nice forecast.... the rain is now down to once every couple of hours, rather than once every few minutes.

We've got about 45 cm snow. Even though we haven't really had any additional snow since late February and have been above average during March, we had quite a lot of snow before then that will take a long time to thaw completely. April has started very cold, but the big thaw seems to finally be coming.

I'm not sure the snow will necessarily remain quite as long into April/May this year, I think it'll be gone by April 20th at least, but yeah, last few winters have had quite extraordinary snowfall amounts.

Eh, it's alright. The rain will stop for a bit, we've already had 72mm this month so far.

After a lovely warm couple of days it's back to below average temps here in Christchurch for the week ahead. Hoping there will at least be a bit of sun:

Back in BKK, looking hellishly hot and humid. Not sure which is worse:

This mini Roman warm period that I've been enjoying lately will be abruptly crushed by the barbaric northern garbage. They even say that higher elevations will get some snow. Well, throw away your summery clothes and get ready for autumn, yay! Fucking joke, as usual.

This is as good as it gets in April here! It's 62 F (17 C) already here, never dropped below 59 overnight and today's high just got upgraded massively (the forecast was only calling for 73 today as recently as yesterday). Then check this out: This is turning into an excellent spring. Trees are already leafing out too, more each day. Almost makes you think the pattern's eventually going to do a massive 180 at some point just as the legendary prosperity and great music of the Roaring 20s gave way to the Great Depression in the 30s. But I'm not going to think about that now; I'm too busy enjoying the subtropicality the weather gods have blessed me with for the time being
