We went from April straight into August, although those rainfall totals are still pitiful considering the temps.

Wunderground is more optimistic than WO, so I'll go with that. Good forecast!

Still no leaves really but leaf out will come quickly as we finally seem to get some warm weather. I'll spend next week between Luleå and Boden though close to the arctic circle. Seems the weather is gonna be even better there. Some proper heat is forecast for central Sweden though.

It's nice that the interim cold wave is over and the weather is warming up again. Today, the maximum was 17.1c at the official closest WMO station and 17.4c at the closest station to Põlva, so the high was a bit higher than the WO had predicted here. And even in Tallinn on the northern coast, which is probably one of the worst climates in the country, the weather station far from the heart of the city, so any special uhi thing either, it is getting warmer. However, today there was a maximum of 16.7c, which is a little less than in the weather forecast. But it's dry. Although it rained a bit in the last few days and that improved the soil moisture situation. But it is even drier on the northern part of the country. My area also has more precipitation on average in May.

rozenn I mean, the forecast isn't completely appalling, but it's a rather mediocre one for May here, so I'm a bit disappointed. If it were sunnier and temperatures were +5C higher than what's forecasted, it would be great. T-storms are good, though.
