Texas is the second-largest state in the United States. It has a unique shape, which can be compared to a boot or a star. On a map, it looks like it has five corners. Which one has the best climate? Dalhart (southwest) El Paso (west) Brownsville (south) Port Arthur (southeast) Texarkana (northeast)

Texarkana probably. On the other hand Port Arthur has worse temps but less tornadoes.

Texarkana with its pretty ideal temps and nice slight summer drying trend too.

Port Arthur. Brownsville is pretty good too except for the poor sunshine pattern, and lows are a little warmer on average than I'd like.

Texarkana I guess. Dalhart is just too dry.
Edit: Changing back to Dalhart since it's noticeably cooler in summer.

Texarkana is great. Love this mini drying trend in the summer.

Guessing Brownsville for warmer winters. All have really hot summers, but at least one of them doesn't have chilly winters.

Texarkana is great. Love this mini drying trend in the summer. I voted for Brownsville for the warmest winters, but I like that about Texarkana too. You can see some more excellent examples of the same thing in Arkansas and Mississippi too.
