What's the windiest month of the year?

When does the windiest time if the year occur in your place? In my area January, February, May and June are the windiest months.
We call these winds Shamal (north in Arabic) as they blow from the north-west. These winds are the reason for the furnace like extreme dry heat in May and June, and for the extreme cold in winter. In UAE these winds blow over the Gulf before reaching the coast that's why UAE has much muggier summers for a much longer period. In Qatar and eastern Saudi Arabia we have a mixture of dry daytime heat in May and June (nights in this period are humid unless the winds are especially strong), and extreme mugginess day and night in July-September.
The eastern coast of Arabian Peninsula has windy winters and almost all cold waves come with strong winds that can sometimes reach 60 km/h, that's one reason why we complain about it being very cold at 20ยฐC.
