Which do you prefer? Feel free to include grades for each location if you choose to. To make things more interesting, let's include mean dewpoint plots: July 2024 mean dewpoint in Fayetteville: 71.5ยฐF July 2024 mean dewpoint in Cape Hatteras: 76.0ยฐF

Hatteras. Both have disgusting humidity so Iโll take the cooler temps. And precipitation days are similar enough to not be a big advantage for Fayetteville

Fayetteville
More interesting all-around (bigger rain events and actual heat), and less humid.

They're both wayyy too wet but I'll pick Fayetteville for lower dewpoints and higher diurnals. Presumably sunnier too?

Cape Hatteras. Not as hot or wet and presumably breezy.
Why aren't the mean dew points 70.3f and 72.7f? Either way it wouldn't change my choice.

They are both utterly fantastic, but I'm going with Fayetteville because Hatteras didnt record a single 90f day. They are both humid and rainy enough to satisfy me.
