Surprised this hasn't been done before. What's the lowest climate grade/rating are you willing to live in? Is getting weather you enjoy/like important to your quality of life, or not?

Sure itโs important but orders of magnitude less important than friends/family/career/city.
I can live anywhere that has a pleasant season. I think year round misery (tundra/ice cap/deep tropics) would be too much for me.
Fairbanks/Miami suck but not like Antarctica/Singapore do.

I live in a D+ climate and I can't wait to get out of here, C would be the lowest I'd want to go.

I rate E-climates as "livable", so I would say that, but considering the voting choices, I will go with D.

Something about a couple of tiers above Melbourne.

C
I'm ok with living anywhere that doesnt have a tropical climate. I'd rather live in a poor and violent temperate climate country like Yugoslavia than a rich peaceful tropical country like Singapore.
But when it comes to climates colder than Lisbon, everything becomes acceptable, the emphasis on climate is lower and other factors such as the economy and friendliness of locals become more important than weather. For instance, I'd rather live in Bergen than Belgrade despite Belgrade having a much better climate. Bergen might be an overcast and depressing climate with anemic winters, but the economy and low crime of Bergen beats the better climate of Belgrade.
But then again, if Bergen had a tropical climate but everything else was the same, I'd choose living in Belgrade.

I'd rate my climate as liveable, I give it a D+/C- mainly due to lack of extreme cold but it is far, far from my ideal. If family/friends etc were no issue then for sure I would be out of here and somewhere much warmer and sunnier.
If I lived in a climate like Shetland islands/Iceland/Moscow/Umea then that would be too much and I'd be forced to move somewhere else no matter what, so I guess the lowest I'm willing to live in is a D as the above are all E/F climates

Hard to say as Iโve never lived in an awful climate. If the climate isnโt miserable, other factors are much more important, but Iโm not sure if Iโd say that for a terrible D/E/F climate.

It's somewhat important since I appreciate the climates that get the weather that I like. But certainly not as important as other things like family, friends, society etc. For a well-paid job, I'd go work in a polar shithole if it's needed. I'll give it a D.

Climate is very important but I've lived in a C/C- climate and I survived, so I'd say nothing below about a D+ grade would be acceptable.

Thing is everyone's rating criteria is different, so one person's 'A' might be another's 'F' Personally I will never live anywhere that gets cold.... but sure as shit I'll work in those sorta places if the money is right.

Generally not important. A minor factor in the A+ to C- range. A D range climate is a pretty major problem, though, and for an E/F climate I would need some extreme circumstances to justify living there. But for the purposes of the poll I voted E/F.

I live in a C- climate and have lived in a D+ climate, but I'd prefer not to live anywhere with a climate below a C. Weather should enhance my quality of life, not detract from it.

For me, climate is quite important for living in a place, although other factors, like socioeconomic status are more important. I could live in tropical rainforest climates (due to their great storms and lush vegetation); and subtropical hot desert/semi-desert climates (as they have a cool season); which I would rate D. However, I would prefer not to live in eternally hot and dry places. On the cold end, I could live in oceanic and continental climates (but they must not be "subpolar" or "subarctic"), as they have lengthy and warm enough summers to justify living there.

Weather and climate are not important for me, so I vote E.

I live in a B climate as does most of my family. I'm not sure why I'd downgrade.

Slight importance. More important factors.
