Which season do you prefer to be the sunniest? For me, it's definitely summer. The sharp sun coupled with hot air rolling over my shoulders gives me an almost orgasmic sensation. Since summer is the warmest season, it should have plenty of sunshine, so all that warm weather can be used for hiking, beaches, and other outdoor activities.

Spring. I like plenty of sun in all seasons, though I'm more willing to tolerate a bit of cloud in summer given high dewpoints and epic storms

Winter, of course. Winter sun makes it feel warmer, and summer cloud makes heat much more pleasant and reduces evaporation.

I do not feel strongly in any direction about this issue.

Even-ish distribution. Don't want any season to be too sunny or cloudy
For what it's worth, my dream climate is slightly sunnier in summer. But if I had to have extreme seasonal difference in sunshine, I might have to go with a cloudy summer/sunny winter pattern

Summer is the only season that has to be sunny. Love the feeling of a warm to hot, dry, sunny day. Sun should also be dominant in summer to increase evaporation.

My preferences are dictated by both early and later in life experiences... I like both Med and Monsoonal rainfall patterns, so summers can be sunny and winters cloudy or visa versa depending where I'm living.

Ideally % should be about equal year round. In absolute numbers that of course means โsunnierโ summers and springs and โcloudierโ falls and winters
