Climate:
Under the Kรถppen climate classification, the city has an oceanic climate (Cfb), and under the Trewartha climate classification, the city has a subtropical climate. The area lies between the winter rainfall, Mediterranean climate zones of the Western Cape and the summer rainfall regions of eastern South Africa. Winters are cool but mild and summers are warm but considerably less humid and hot than more northerly parts of South Africa's east coast. The climate is very even throughout the year with extreme heat or moderate cold rare.

E+
Pretty high humidity for how little precip there is.
Boring as fuck though. Even Cape Town is slightly better.
George (to the west) has wetter summers than Port Elizabeth.

B+. Very good, mild climate that isn't totally seasonless (could have more interesting temps) and has half decent precip.

A-
Very comfortable, especially the winters. That minus is for the record lows. I can see the climate also getting 18C highs in middle of summer, but someone needs to confirm that.

Port Elizabeth gets B-. If record highs were lower by 5ยฐC every month it could be much better.

B+, good temps and dry summers, just could use some more temperature seasonality and winter/spring rain.

B-. Reminds me of SoCal. Acceptable temperatures year round, but arid and boring. TIL San Francisco levels of rain for a subtropical climate is arid. A rare A in my book.

C Comfy but boring. Could use more rain, slightly hotter summers, and colder winters.
Also, what is up with the bimodal peak in record highs?

Not sure why, though I read "mean daily minimum" as the monthly lowest min temp and not the avg low. Downgrading to a D+ in that case

B. Not the most interesting climate but this one is exceedingly comfortable - good for outdoor activities year-round. I love that every month is sunny.
