San Diego of course. Comfortable and mild all year round. No -7C record lows. Some reliable rain too.

Its actually a tougher one ( the climate battle ) that one would think.... trust me, the unrelenting summer heat of Palm Springs can and does wear you down.... really, there are heat wankers ( theoretical ) and heat wankers ( in practice )...and really the in practice ones are few and far between when ya talk about the s w of the USA, the lowland/coastal Middle East, the pre monsoonal Pakistan and India, the Sahel of Africa, the WA Pilbara. sure, we can avoid the brutal heat with AC and shit... but spare a thought for the people who have to work out in it day after day, month after month.... I seriously doubt those folks would prefer Palm Springs to San Diego in real life... Anyways I voted Palm Springs but had to think about it....

San Diego is boring, but it beats four months of average highs in the triple digits.
