Yeah, no offense Lommie, they are pretty blurry Seems like perhaps you a new camera? Can't blame the weather since Babs frequently takes spectacular photos in Umea. I tend to take them after sunset... Which is a bad idea for a first-generation smartphone

Not as bad quality as owenc's photos The Stockholm photo reminded me of Huvilakatu in Helsinki, a famous art nouveau street:

Babs, what camera are you using right now? Oneplus 3t. Occasionally the D3300 though the last time I used it except for auroras was in Greece in August. And yes Lommaren, even in summer, though you only take pics at twilight it seems, regardless of season.

Did you guys find my pictures blurry? Looking at them now, they look a tad bit blurry, they were pics taken from my phone.
Lommaren has potential for good pics, I think. He just needs a better camera and hands that aren't equivalent to Michael J. Fox.

Edit: And looking at them again, the compression seems to be pretty decent as well. It's as it should be.

My apologies for the stupid questions, I'm quite ignorant on cameras, pictures, etc lol.

And yes Lommaren, even in summer, though you only take pics at twilight it seems, regardless of season. if Lommaren is using a mediocre camera it's low light performance is likely bad and it'd have to open the shutter for a while to take a picture, making it easy to blur. Maybe his photos would be fine if taken during the daytime? As for whether the camera matters, I was using the camera for 2/3rds of my photos as owen [iPhone 6]. But a lot of Owen's photos looked blurry or just bad.

Obviously it's close to impossible to get camera shake in sunlight, and with a better camera the shots wouldn't be as blurry, but it doesn't change the fact that most of Lommie's blur could be prevented. For example, try to actually focus on holding the camera steady instead of just snapping them, and try taking more than one picture; one of them might turn out much better than the other.

Last day in southern Sweden. I'm going to miss seeing colors outside. I far prefer these kinds of fields over the boring dead (and covered by 70cm snow) fields up in Tavelsjö. It doesn't feel like it's winter and it's great. I hate winter. Too bad I was stuck at my girlfriend's Grandma's when this was going on outside. Damn her and her shutters. Full res:

How come your grass isn't green? Because it was an ice day as I said, so the grass was frozen, as well it is not a real grass but a wild grass which has been cut. As well - the quality of my camera, it shows everything as faded,

Home sweet home... How anyone can dislike a beautiful winter day like that is beyond me. I get that some people don't like the cold but believe me, seven months of mud and rain is worse.

Managed to snap a picture of today's sunset out of the city restaurant. This is the only completely non-edited JPG I've posted on here.

^Nice
Apparently yesterday's sunset was photographed by every single Umean. Four instagram pics in a row were of it and visitumeå's account mentioned how so many took pictures of it.

Just over the border into upstate NY, Monday morning. gloomy and cold, around 20°F. Still felt mild relative to what it was this weekend too many pigeons ===================== back near home; nice morning sky with altocumulus. Mild winter morning yesterday, right around freezing. It went above 32°F! It went above 32°F! It went above 32°F! ==================================== my street never got plowed well, was annoying controlling my car and street parking. Yuck ======================================= Every leftie greenie neighborhood should have trash & recycling picked up by bicycle. The wide tired bicycles deal well with messy streets, mine would be clumsy. this morning was colder, maybe around 14°F (-10°C) as you can from how she's dressed. Clearer skies = colder in the morning. Nice afternoon later with a cloudless sky. Another nearby street
