I'm all about being a comfort wanker. Mild winters, mild summers, no real cold or heat. This climate is a pleasant one: dry-ish Cfb climate, with a lot of sun and coolish temps year round, so ideal for outdoor activities. It really is comfortable. So how does it rate? I give it an A of course.

I think you've made the records too cold. In such a comfortable climate, those record lows would feel terrible. Personally, it's an F- climate for me at best. I'd go crazy there.

C. It's comfortable but has crummers and the precip isn't adequate either. If it had enough thunderstorms that would help

B-, good winters and no excessive summer rain, but also too dry in winter/spring and wayyy too mild in summer.
Also, it doesn't look all that comfortable. Sure it's mild in general, and the winter seems pleasant enough, but that summer is downright cool. When I think of optimum comfort I think of dry 75ยบF/55ยบF or even 80ยบF/60ยบF days.

E+, maybe D- in a good year
I wouldn't call this "comfortable" personally. It's like a long, cool Sydney winter.

D at best... nah scratch that its an E .... lack of warmth is simply too much I'm afraid. And you say "Maybe 10 days a year" snowfalls ?? cant see it from those figures/winters ? 10 days a year with thunder. Snow days, don't know, cos I don't GAF about snow. More detail: There are infact 8.1 days per annum with thunder. The thunder days are highly variable. Three years (2028, 2038, 2049) had no thunder days. The most thundery year ever was 2045, with 28 thunder days. There were 8 thunder days in December that year, and 7 thunder days in January. That is highly unusual. December has the highest average number of thunder days at 1.2 per month.

E+, maybe D- in a good year I wouldn't call this "comfortable" personally. It's like a long, cool Sydney winter. My comfort threshold is lower than most people's in temerature at least on this forum. Specially in sunshine. 18 and sunny feels plenty warm enough for me. 20+ and sunny starts to feel too hot, especially if I'm exercising which I do a lot of.
