Both have a med pattern but my dream climate is cooler overall. This will probably end up being a lopsided climate battle since Palomares is warmer, gets more heat and is wetter. All those things will make it more popular with the majority of the forum. I guess those who like colder winters will vote for mine but polar foamers seem to be outnumbered. Coolmanland (My dream climate) Palomares (Metsfan257's dream climate)

Mine averages 20 thunderstorm days a year, so less than half the amount of your dream climate.

Palomares for the warmer winters, even though the summers are oppressive

Palomares is better in every conceivable way. Hate to say Coolman, but those polar crummer lows can kiss my black ass.

Coolmanland. Less rain, more snow, milder temps

Palomares is better in every possible way, even though that autumnal August is horrible.

Would have to be Palomares. I don't like that August is much cooler than June though, I love my summer lag.

Actually really close. Palomares has ideal winter temps but Coolmanland has significantly better winter precipitation—lots of light rain and drizzle as opposed to shitty day-long heavy rain. Coolmanland also has excellent March-October temps, whereas Palomares is too warm and July is unpleasantly hot. However, Palomares also gets a far far better number of thunderstorms although many years would probably never see snow.
I think the awful wintry November in Coolmanland seals the deal, Palomares gets the slight edge.
The seasonal lead there makes no sense though—on/near a coast, no monsoon, not at a high lattitude—not sure what mechanism would cause that.

Coolmanland because of the cooler summer.

Palomares for warmer winters, higher dew points, more precip, and more thunderstorms
