There's a sizeable number of Haitian immigrants in the city of Springfield, Ohio. Not only do they have to deal with being at the centre of unfortunate rumours, but they also need to adjust to a very different climate. Do you prefer the hot homeland climate, or the continental climate of their new home? Springfield, OhioPort-au-Prince, Haiti

Yeah nah I won't do well in a "dead vegetation" continental climate. I'd take the tropical climate any day.

Port-au-Prince is infinitely better than any Midwestern climate.

Port-au-Prince wins for not being cold and snowy, but it isn't much better than Springfield. Obviously Springfield is a nicer place to actually live, but that's independent of climatic factors.

Ohio. Would like to see official data for the Haitian place though, summer seems suspiciously hot.

I don't usually pick tropical climates over continental climates, but Port-au-Prince is much better than Springfield.

Springfield is clearly the better climate, except the four coldest months.

Ohio. Would like to see official data for the Haitian place though, summer seems suspiciously hot. The nearest place on climateatlas.org is even hotter. It's in DR but it's not far from PaP.

Jimani is slightly inland and in DR, but has very similar temps to that fake source for Port-au-Prince:

Springfield, OH for being able to get cool weather, though I don't care for Nov-March
